Summary: Guitar Hero World Tour Guitar Kit for Wii This is an excellent game....with one major problem.... The mechanism used to make the guitar has one fault...the strum bar has given a lot of ppl including myself a lot of grief. The game itself is a masterpiece and I adored playing it however after about 3 1/2 weeks of playing it it stopped registering my down strokes. This is a common problem (you can search it and see).
Summary: So when guitar hero world tour came out I was very excited and got it as soon as i could. I couldn't wait to try out everything, especially drums. So first i will talk about the drums. I'd never played rock band drums so this was my first "video game experience " with drums. First starting on medium, after a week i could already play expert. But i was right away disappointed because my orange cymbal didn't work half the time right from the start, right out of the box.
Summary: First off the game is great to play. It's fun for the whole family. Unfortunately they turned out a product before it was ready. There are numerous reviews out there that mention the drum problem. I just got my GHWT set yesterday and the game is near unplayable due to sensitivity problems with the yellow cymbal hat. Also the kit keeps sinking as the locking mechanism that goes between the legs and the head kit does not lock it in place tight enough.
Summary: I bought this product for my husband and children as an early Christmas gift and ended up having it break less than 24 hours after receiving it. Okay several issues regarding this product... The good: 1) Great song titles 2) Loved the drum set, we were surprised that we enjoyed the drum set as much as we did. We found that the pressure sensitive drum set was far better play than Rockband's.
Summary: I have always been a die hard Nintendo fan but I just keep getting disappointed every time a game like this comes out. Don't get me wrong the game itself is just as fun in the other consoles but the wii lacks of a differentiated characteristic for this game and many other games in particular. The first problem is the controllers, if you want to play 4 people you would need 4 wii motes; YES, the microphone requires one too. Why do I say is a disadvantage on the Wii?
Summary: History: I have GH3 and RB1 (Wii), and have been pretty happy with both. I do think the RB guitar is better than the GH one because they are more substantial in your hand and give off ALOT less noise by them selves. At first, I thought the RB drums were very loud, but getting the drum pads helped about 50%. (apt. dweller). Now having bought the new GH:WT I was hoping for new improvements to make playing the next gen even better. But alas, not to be.
