Summary: As far as band exclusive games this is the holy grail. I got it because a friend let me play it at his house and was surprise with the inclusion of a Mercyful Fate and that King Diamond is also in the game. I have played using the drums and that makes it double the fun to play.
Summary: We love playing this version of Guitar Hero. I'm not a Metallica fan (my husband and son are) but have really enjoyed the selection of songs put together on this game and the level of difficulty.
Summary: The music is great for Metallica fans! The speed of the songs makes it more difficult for a beginner to be successful playing this version. I liked it but was turned off because I could not score well and barely finished any songs. It is put away to play sometime when I am better at the Guitar Hero game.
Summary: Always a big fan of Metallica, I found that this game definitely didn't let me down in my quest to be a rock star (you know, in the daydreams you have every once in a while...). I did have to adjust the difficulty level on this game to be more suitable, it seems like the older guitar hero games are not programmed to be as challenging as the newer games like Guitar Hero 5 and Warriors of Rock.
Summary: The songs are great and there are enough of them, but I don't think guitar hero spent hardly any time on the campaign or the different screens and options available. Its all very simple. There are also too many loading screens.
Summary: bought the game for my husband since I couldn't get tickets to their show - has many great songs, and not just metallica songs.. My children really like playing this game too. The only problem is that you can only set up one band so my husband has to play with the same band as the children which is different from the original guitar hero where everyone can have their own band.
