When Guitar Hero: Aerosmith was first announced, the general public speculated that a game based on only one band would surely be a hoax. However, there is nothing fake about it; and with other band-centric versions of the classic rhythm game, such as Guitar Hero: Metallica, on the way, Guitar Hero Aerosmith is the lab rat for this venture. After quickly rising to stardom, Aerosmith was torn apart by drugs and disagreement which led to the departure of Joe Perry and Brad Whitford in 1979 and 1981. The two returned in 1984 and Aerosmith has not faltered since. Read more

W hen developer Neversoft first announced it was working on this, gamers, hacks and pundits everywhere scoffed at the idea that a Guitar Hero game based around the career of one band could possibly work. Call it a social experiment, as it will be interesting to see if the band's popularity rises as a result of the game. For the most part, this game is already a success. Read more

The game features 40 songs (31 of which are featured in career mode). The main tracklist isn't that great and the unlockables only feature minor songs from Aerosmith and Joe Perry. You'll breeze through career mode in a few short hours and will probably have no desire to go back and play it again. The Aerosmith collectibles, such as custom guitars and interview videos are nice for fans, but no one else will care enough to collect them. There is also online play, but it's... Read more

I really like playing the Aerosmith songs on Guitar Hero for Wii. I just wish there were more Aerosmith songs in the song list. Some very good songs were not included in the game at all (eg. Janie's Got A Gun, Hole In My Sole, I Don't Want To Miss A Thing) However, I actually like the layout of this game better than World Tour & Guitar Hero 5. The Aerosmith version, I think, was produced in the same time frame as Guitar Hero 3 and has the same layout. You can create... Read more or see product

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith for the Wii for one player you go through the career and unlock new songs by reaching a certain score, you get different stars which you can achieve 1 star to 5 star and you earn yourself money in order to buy a different guitar or a outfit for the charater. There are 4 different levels of hardness from easy upto expert. Easy at first I found it hard as it was my first go so you can go on practice and change the speed, once i picked up how to play...
