Good game, IF you do not compare it

Art, Amazon

  • Summary: Nintendo Wii is not known for realistic driving games, graphics or simple controllers. If you are a Forza or Gran Turismo fan, you will think this game, graphics and having to play with your tired arms holding up the Wii Remote steering wheel is not worth it. If you can get this game under $20, give it a chance and it's actually a good game if you like driving/racing games for your Wii or WiiU.

Fantastic racing game!

AF "Whigs", Amazon
7 January 2014
  • Summary: As others have mentioned, this is sort of a "Gran Turismo Lite". It's not as detailed or realistic as the GT games, but that's still really the best comparison. You get to choose from real world vehicles and tune them to a very limited degree - though with some of the tuning options it's not readily apparent what effect the different parts actually have. The graphics are good and there's an excellent sense of speed. No, they're not "realistic", but it's the Wii.

Fine

downsouthgagirl, Amazon

  • Summary: Game was purchased for my 4 and 5 year olds. They love anything car related, so there's not much to complain about for us personally, however I will say that for an older player, the graphics are lacking as is the audio and the car controls aren't as delicate as in other games. Overall, for me, it was a good purchase.

Not Up to Wii Standards

Lisa Shea "be the change you wish to see in t..., Amazon

  • Summary: GT Pro Series for the Wii is a racing game that puts you in the seat of a variety of normal-driving plus high end cars. You can race a Subaru Forester if you want - or something much zippier. How well does it play? First, and of course most importantly, the controls. We've played a wide range of racing games on all of the major consoles. We adore racing games so we've sampled quite a few styles. We even love the kart style games.

Fun, especially for Initial D fans.

  • Summary: This games is not for everyone. The graphics are not everyone's cup of tea. They're not very good even for a wii game, but they have that cel-shaded, arcade-esque charm I love. There's no damage modeling which I actually like in this case. It seems to work. The sound is ATROCIOUS, but the music isn't that bad. Every car in the game sounds like a gas powered vacuum cleaner, but the tire screech sound is okay, and that's good because this game is really drift heavy.
