Summary: This is way too hard for the occasional player. We wanted a fun game that we could enjoy as a family, but the spec is too high and the functions too difficult to master - at least without spending considerable time learning. Not what we wanted at all.
Summary: Although it has more features and has a professional feel to it, when you go out on court the controls simply don't listen to your movements and the play gets rather chaotic and uncontrollable. It is simply difficult to play and enjoy it. The primitive Wii Tennis is much greater fun. I can't recommend this.
Summary: I expected more from this game because it's from one of the prominent company. It's not as responsive as other WII tennis games even with the motion. You aim hitting a certain shot but the ball goes to other direction.
Summary: Have to agree with many of the reviews regarding the control problems of this game. It IS better without the motion plus. What is a pretty decent game without it becomes virtually unplayable with it. The shots I play often bear no relation to those appearing on screen - very frustrating.
Summary: I agree with many of the other reviews in that the game has too many glitchs. Racket shots are unpredictable and the player is frequently unresponsive. This is frustrating and just spoils the whole experience for me.
Conclusion: In the first week I thought this game was great - but now the shine has really gone off it. Feels like it was rushed to be out in time for Wimbledon. The Wii motion+ is not very responsive compared to other available games. I want all of the players in the tournaments and not just the tiny handful of real players who range from John McEnroe to Andy Murray. Andy Murray has never won a Grand Slam so he's clearly on the box to boost sales.
Summary: My expectation was high as I fitted the Wii Motion Plus accessory to the controller. After a few games I felt angry that I had believed E.A.'s hype. The Motion Plus does not work correctly with this game. The game appears to have been rushed out for the new wonder accessory but I found that the tennis was far better without Motion Plus. The main problem was that your player did not always move automatically when it was supposed to.
Summary: Well, what can I say? I was really looking forward to play this game and now I have played it for a week. The idea itself is great, the game is not. The technology is just not that good and responsive. First of all the game has too much glitch. When you swing your racket the player doesn't always respons. This happens too frequently and is frustrating and can cause you to loose a match. The Motion Plus usage has a learning curve and it is not 1:1 as advertised.
