"Nice game. Really fun party game. Good for tennis fans"

jrwt54, CNET
23 July 2011
  • Pros: Nice graphics. Easy to learn and have success with. Really difficult to win at the hardest level, but you can start with easy and medium. Has replay of nice shots. Doubles is really nice too. Love that you can make several of your own players and lots
  • Cons: A little cartoony. The commentary is repetitive. Wii motion plus does not work well with this game. Makes your shots go everywhere except where you want them. I don't like that they retire your player after so many matches that will limit the number of

EA hits a winner with Grand Slam Tennis

Scrappy40 , GameStop
31 July 2010
  • Summary: As someone who has played tennis my whole life, even playing in a handful of professional qualifying tournaments, when I got the wii and the motion plus I knew this game was top on my list to get. Let me tell ya, when I got it I was not disapointed. When you start off the challenge this game offers is downright insane.

"Can't stop playing - better then Madden 10"

4loopdev, CNET
16 April 2010
  • Pros: Super fun, great online play and has good features.
  • Cons: 1) More pro players like Agassi, Chang, etc..... 2) Before tournaments you have to play exhibition matches which I wish you could skip and also see the full bracket to see who you might play or how people got to where they are.

"Very Frustrating!! Controls are all over the place."

oakley2000, CNET
23 February 2010
  • Pros: It has the potential to be fun.
  • Cons: The controls are very difficult to master and are often unreliable. Would only recommend the game if you enjoy throwing controllers through a wall.

"Frustrating and unlike Wii Sports Tennis"

thegrittybrit, CNET
1 December 2009
  • Pros: It's neat to play against some all time greats and see what styles they used.
  • Cons: Delay before hitting it. Slow tempo of game. Bad commentary/announcing. Not really like tennis. Hard to control player. Hard to hit accurate shots.

"Ignore Editors Review - Excellent Challenge"

grege321, CNET
30 September 2009
  • Pros: The game is difficult and a tad frustrating at the start - however if you are like me and want to master the game, it becomes very reqarding. The game plays very well and you can eventually start controlling your game even on hard mode.
  • Cons: I agree with the Editor in that it could do with more training around precise controlling, however figuring it out for myself turned out to feel more rewarding especially when I read the Editors review.
