Summary: I will preface this by saying I am an experienced martial artist and someone who knows how to throw a variety of PROPER punches the correct way. The reason I bring this up is because there is a sort of division between sports and/or exercise and martial arts or boxing in this particular case.

Summary: Gold's Gym Cardio Workout is primarily a boxing training game. There are some warmup workouts, but the game focuses on training to box. If you love boxing, then you'll be set. If you're not a fan of boxing, then it makes sense that this probably isn't the cardio system for you. You really want to have two controllers to use this - not just a controller and a nunchuck.
Summary: I got this so I could get a decent workout while getting my video game fix, and it hasn't disappointed. Unlike the boxing on the Wii Sports (which I had been using before), it works everything rather than just the arms; my whole body hurt from day one. Combining this with my diet has helped my weight loss goals greatly. The Daily Workout is nice. You can choose three different levels depending on how long you want to play.
Summary: I have only been playing this game for a few days, but I can say it really gives me a workout. I use this game and the Wii Fit daily, and I get more of a work out playing this game for 10 minutes than I do playing Wii Fit for a half hour. It really gets your heart pumping and makes you work up a sweat. The game is made up of various workouts in 3 difficulty leves. There are also a few additional games. Overall, the workouts are fun & really get you moving!
Summary: As an overweight, 42 year old woman, I bought this game with a mixture of curiosity and dread. Boy, am I glad that I did! This is seriously fun, and after 1 month, I am developing arm and other muscles that I only dreamed about. My only complaint is the muzak music which is randomly annoying. I turn the volume down and listen to my iPod instead :-) The game begins with a complete review of all of the punches and necessary steps to safely throw them.
Summary: I read someone's review and saw that this game was ALL boxing. Since I enjoy the boxing on Wii Fit and Wii Active I jumped right on this one. This is better than both. I went through several of the "lessons" on my first day. Today is day 2 and I'm a little afraid to do it again until I have a "rest day" my arms and upper back are sore. I really felt like I kicked butt, I did over 1400 punches and sweated my tail off. I love this game.
Summary: I've been using this for about 10 days now, and so far I like it a lot. I especially enjoy the shape boxing workout. It starts you off with a simple workout, jabs and crosses, and the workouts increase in intensity/duration and complexity the more you use it (by adding hooks, uppercuts, and other things I haven't gotten to yet). I find myself getting an excellent workout. I'm not so crazy about some of the balance board applications.
Summary: I bought this game when it first came out, and I use it more than anything else I own, including Wii Fit. The first time I used it I could barely move for several days, and eventually had to get a massage to take care of the last muscle in my back that just wouldn't stop hurting. It was a fantastic workout. However, if you're the type of person who seeks perfection in video games, be warned--I have achieved a perfect workout exactly one time.
Summary: This game is essentially a boxing game with some other added-in exercises. It does a good job teaching the various moves, and it is fun and provides a great workout. For those of us who like the idea of boxing with Wii but were disappointed by the boxing provided by Wii Sports and Wii Fit, this is a huge improvement. Overall, I am very happy with this game and am glad I got it - how ever, I want to point out a few things that could use fixing.
Summary: I have My Fitness Coach and have been using it for the last 5 months; I got bored with it and finally bought Gold's Gym for variety. For the $[...] I spent, I thought that if I hated the "game," I would not feel as if I wasted money. I have been using this "game" 3-4 days a week for two weeks. I must say that I really like it. I always pick the Hardcore workout option and find myself sweating profusely after the 20 minute workout put together by my trainer.
