Summary: I got this after years of using my Wii Fit Plus and finally deciding to expand my exercise video game collection to two! This is an excellent, excellent game for those who don't want a drill sergeant or a motivational speaker when it comes to instruction. This is great for anyone who likes exercising in the privacy of their own home and at their own pace. This is one of my favorite, most used purchases from Amazon in a long time.
Summary: I will preface this by saying I am an experienced martial artist and someone who knows how to throw a variety of PROPER punches the correct way. The reason I bring this up is because there is a sort of division between sports and/or exercise and martial arts or boxing in this particular case.
Summary: This is one of the best reviewed wii exercise games on the market, and when I received it from Amazon, I quickly learned why. You will learn how to box, have fun, and get a good workout. I hope this software company continues to update this game.
Summary: I got this so I could get a decent workout while getting my video game fix, and it hasn't disappointed. Unlike the boxing on the Wii Sports (which I had been using before), it works everything rather than just the arms; my whole body hurt from day one. Combining this with my diet has helped my weight loss goals greatly. The Daily Workout is nice. You can choose three different levels depending on how long you want to play.
Summary: I bought this through amazon after being bored to tears with my Wii Fit Plus. I am not understanding why some say this routine doesn't burn enough calories? Here's my experience: I've been using it for 2 weeks straight and I do it every day. Yes it's mainly boxing. That aside, it's still a heart pounding sweat inducing workout once you get past the beginner stage. It counts your punches and an approximation of how many calories you've burned.
Summary: This game is good for the beginner and the advanced. It is as if you are really at the gym with a trainer showing you every move and how to do it perfectly. It even has a certification process as well as detailed descriptions and examples of each punch and combination. You have to throw hard punches and do them correctly because every punch counts towards gold in which motivates you to work even harder so you can purchase clothes and other objects for your character.
Summary: As an overweight, 42 year old woman, I bought this game with a mixture of curiosity and dread. Boy, am I glad that I did! This is seriously fun, and after 1 month, I am developing arm and other muscles that I only dreamed about. My only complaint is the muzak music which is randomly annoying. I turn the volume down and listen to my iPod instead :-) The game begins with a complete review of all of the punches and necessary steps to safely throw them.
