Summary: You remember back in the nineties when we had the fighting game boom? Dozens of "me too" titles with increasingly silly premises, all vying for a piece of the one-on-one fighter pie. Rise of the Robots , Primal Rage , Eternal Champions , they all came out of the woodwork with their own absurd concepts and varying degrees of quality. Tournament of Legends reminds me of those days. Strangely, I don't mean that as a bad thing in the least.
Excerpt: The anticipated Tournament of Legends has arrived on the Nintendo Wii that offers owners of this console, a not so standard fighter... more specifically a weapon's figher. As opposed to the Street Fighter, Tournament of Legends takes a different tact with the story and takes the player back to antiquity where 10 mythological legends have been summoned by the gods to fight. But if you're looking for Street Fighter... look elsewhere!

Summary: Parents need to know that despite the inclusion of various world mythological figures, Tournament of Legends is a modern-style fighting game in which those classical characters use contemporary speech. It is violent, though not excessively bloody. It features scantily clad women warriors. And it sometimes has a juvenile sense of humor.
