Summary: This is a pretty good title. It's no Fishing resort (my favorite) but far better than the follow up title (fishing master world tour) The casting takes some getting used, and there is WAY too much talking. But all in all the game is fun and a nice change of pace from the shoot em up games that are so popular.
Summary: i bought this game for my dad and he and i couldn't stop playing it! many times i would enjoy just sitting on the couch and watching him play! he actually beat the game and became a fishing master. i later bought him fishing master world tour but we didn't enjoy that as much. the graphics are definitely cartoony but the gameplay is great and so are the various fish that you encounter along the way. excellent game!
Summary: Not for little kids. Difficult to reel in the big fish. Controls sensitive... I haven't tried any other fishing videos but this one leaves something to be desired. Other than the vibration effect when a fish bites...not much excitement.
Summary: After 40 tries trying to figure out how to reel a fish in (admittedly, no fisherwoman, here lol) I was pleased to say I finally caught something, and after that rarely lost a catch. My kids razzed me for buying it (i researched and bought it for them, ingrates!) but, now, as I knew they would be, they are loving it. And I'm pleased. The fun part is trying to cast by the fish you want to hook and going nuts when you can't get him...lol.
Summary: We bought this game on a whim out of a gold box deal having no idea what we were getting. I figured if we got a few hours of play out of it, then it wasn't money completely wasted. Turns out, we have got more than a few hours out of it! We love it. It's one of our family night choices. We play it until we get wii-bow (like tennis elbow, but from wii) from jerking the line to keep from losing the big fish.
Summary: Fishing Master is the great Arcade style fishing game to hit the Nintendo Wii. You can choose from an array of different types of bait. Fishing Master is fishing fun for the whole family! Cast your line with the Wii Remote. And start reeling with your Nunchuck. Usually, my son (5 years old) and I become a team and try to open new spot for fishing and I can teach him what kinds fish living in different area.
