Summary: I love fishing games. I played The Black Bass for HOURS (days, weeks, months, YEARS) on the original NES. I have had a lot of PC titles, and a couple Wii titles. This one is well...a bit better than ok, but not what I would classify as good. Yes I play it, and enjoy it to a point, but it gets a bit borning after an hour or so. Now I'm comparing this based on my favorite title to date (Fishing Resort) and my least favorite (Rapala Tournement Fishing).
Summary: Very cartoony...think Pokemon fishing. Basically you travel around to different parts of the world to throw a line w/ a bobber into the water and wait for a bite...then the fighting is not very realistic, but is fun, for a little while. May be more fun for a younger audience.
Summary: I have to admit, I was (and still very much am) SERIOUSLY addicted to the original version of this game. It's one of the few video games I have ever finished and replayed. In fact, I didn't know there was even a sequel until a few weeks ago, and I couldn't understand why this game was discontinued, especially since Fishing Master (the original) was so much fun.
Summary: If you're looking for a realistic fishing game this isn't it. I think this game was geared more towards children. I read the other reviews and I was expecting that it would be a lot of fun, but it missed the mark for me. Pros: - Unlike some of the other fishing games you can fish around the world, and catch different species of fish around the world - The "Line Break" and "Hook Off" is very well balanced, my biggest complaint for my favorite fishing game is how easy it...
