Summary: Being a lifetime Sims player, I was super excited to see Sims 3 come out on the Wii (finally!) but after just an hour of playing, I was a little bit disappointed..the gameplay in live mode is choppy.. you have to constantly bring up a menu to see your Sim's needs. Selecting an object to interact with is annoying. It will bring up a menu of every single item surrounding your Sim, so it takes a moment to select what you actually want your Sim to do.

Summary: Bought this as a present for an 11 year old girl. The instructions aren't great to tell you how to navigate the game & it doesn't seem that much more advanced than the PC version from years ago. In saying that, the recipient of the gift seems happy enough with it.
Summary: I love the Sims and have been playing it for over 10 years since the age of 8. I loved the first sims and loved the 2nd sims even better. I also loved the Sims games for PS2. However with the Sims 3, I've tried to play it on my Computer, but it's not the same anymore and it's quite slow. So I thought I would get this for the Wii. Well at least it works better. But.... It's boring, just not like how the Sims used to be. The characters look ugly.
So much things wrong with this game, but at the same time some good things.

Summary: Having been a fan of The Sims on PC I decided to try out Sims 3 on Wii, and I have to say having played the game on PC before I had high expectations that weren't really met. There were glitches that became quite annoying and it just didn't have the range of gameplay I was used to, and as a result I don't really play the game anymore. Having said that if I had never played The Sims before I would of been quite pleased with the game.
This is not a game for those with limited free time

Summary: As a fan of advance wars and tactical rpgs in general the core gameplay is fine. The story forces too much exposition throughout the game adding in details that wont mean much except to the most die hard of Fire Emblem fans. While the story is pretty bad at first as the story progresses it gets better until part 4 of the game where it does a massive nosedive. The main issue i have with this game however is time...
