Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn This game Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is classified to be a tactical RPG (role playing game) types of video game, from the publisher Nintendo. Radiant Dawn is geared for Wii-format game play, the first one in the Fire Emblem series to be designed for the Wii game console.

Radiant Dawn has four main parts that each revolve around the story beginning three years after the Mad King’s War featured in Path of Radiance. In fact, many characters that made their appearance in Path of Radiance are also featured here. The game has a Japanese version and an English version – each has its own peculiarities so you cannot expect elements from the Japanese version to also appear in the English version automatically. Gaming critics gave this game the thumbs-up, particularly since the game play can get quite difficult. One criticism levied against it is that it needs better graphics.

Review Summary

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn consists of two main characters: So the (present in the first GameCube game) and Micaiah (a newcomer). They are members of the Dawn Brigade, a group of freedom fighters trying to put an end to corruption and evil in Daein. Radiant Dawn is full of plot twists, and players may see quite a few familiar faces. Radiant Dawn presents both sides of a story. Before, Daein was seen as the enemy, ruled by a crazed king and influenced by an enigmatic evildoer. Now you can see the other side, how things occurred from Daein's viewpoint. The game's story really possesses depth and maturity. The game’s style in Fire Emblem is the same as the original game's release, apart from some minor variations. If you have already played Path of Radiance, then you know exactly how this game is. The game is divided up into chapters; beginning each chapter, you must select which characters you wish to bring into battle with you which are limited. And as chapters become tougher you will have to continue with the same characters. The force of the game's entertainment lies in selecting exactly which characters you want to use. There are also tons of different weapons namely; lances, swords, axes, and bows. Characters are restricted in the class of weapon they can use (for example, archers can only use bows). When characters reach a certain level, they have the ability to upgrade. Though this game and its graphics are not so impressive, the plot is great and the game is entertaining.
