Not the best, but I like it.

Lucille P. Robinson, Amazon
13 December 2014
  • Summary: This game is not up to par with the Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers game. Where the Crystal Bearers have great graphics and characters that look human, Echoes of Time's graphics are not as great. Hills are put together in layers as steps. A gamer cannot focus the camera in a way to aide the carrying out of battles or other actions like walking toward a certain point. The playing window is comparable to the window of a Game Boy console.

Pretty good for a DS port.

  • Summary: Echoes of time for the Wii as well all know is a port for the Nintendo DS. The only big difference between them is the trailor for crystal bearers, and being able to use your Mii. Going into this game knowing that it was a DS port, doesn't make it seem nearly as bad, kinda like playing a rom. So let's break down this review into sections. Graphics: On the DS, I'm sure this game looks rather impressive, the Wii however, it looks like an early PS2 game at best.

Not as bad as everyone seems to think

  • Summary: I actually have really enjoyed this game. It has its pros and cons, but overall I think that it is very fun. I'm not a huge gamer (the only other FF game I've played is FF3 for the SNES), so maybe I have lower expectations than some people. I've played about 10 hours into the game, and here are my opinions on the pros and cons: Pros: Fun story line, easy to learn controls, side quests are fun, customizable weapons, online multiplayer Cons: Sometimes the AI characters are...

It's alright.

  • Summary: Not much is changed from the DS version, it's one of the better ones they released with the Final Fantasy brand attached in some time. But more of a FF Adventure. It's nice that games like this at least have subtitles.
