Fast Draw Showdown is a game developed and published by American Laser Games for the Wii game console and is a live-action laserdisc video game initionally released in 1994. Revamped for the Wii console, it is a live-action rail shooters filmed entirely in at the Old Tucson Studios near Tucson, Arizona, with sets used for several notable films belonging to the Western genre. It was re-released for PC only by Digital Leisure in 2004 and for WiiWare in North America. The plot revolves around the player assuming the role of an anonymous individual who takes part in a series of showdowns with several different gunfighters.

Features

Fast Draw Showdown features three difficulty levels: deputy, sheriff and marshal and is set in the Old West with up to five showdowns. Gamers must draw their revolver as quickly as possible and shoot the enemies before they get shot. The objective of the game is to defeat all the foes the player is up against. If gamers are able to achieve this without losing a round, the gamer then takes part in a final showdown to face Wes Flowers, “one of the world's fastest quick-drawers”. Players then receives the title of Best Deputy, Super Sheriff or Master Marshal, depending on the difficulty level when they are able to defeat Wes Flowers. The game features characters such as Lifetaker Larry, Pat Yukon who is an overweight, drunk who takes the longest time to shoot during the Sheriff level; the Good and the Bad who are two men who taunt the player by calling them “The ugly”; and Cha cha Chico who always dances before the showdown. The game also features a hidden showdown that occurs after the player beats every showdown under 1 second. Other characters in the game include The Reverend Brothers; Loraine who is a prostitute who taunts the gamer in between showdowns; and Jack, an individual who congratulates or scolds the player when they've done well or is they've taken their gun out of the holster too soon or when they are not suppose to.
