Summary: Very realistic ski resort which I think would be a good introduction to prepare people that have never been skiing before on what to expect. For example trying to get onto the right lift to get you to the ski run you want to do. Also great for people reminiscing previous trips.
Summary: Few ski games for the Wii are good but we liked "Family Ski" a lot and "Family Ski And Snowboard" is even better, 1 mountain in resort style and a freestyle mountain. Both versions of the game are good fun but i can't recommend having both "Family Ski" And "Family Ski And Snowboard" except if you...
Excerpt: Family ski was the first game in the series. It's predecessor has gotten nowhere at all. It is still a good fun game however. One of its main features is the fact you can put your Mii into the game increasing the experience.

The principles of skiing and snowboarding are essentially the same as the first game (although the snowboarding requires you to be at an angle to the screen), which...
Summary: All in all a fun game for all the family. True it's a bit limited and can get boring and repetitive for the older family members but for younger kids it was a hit. There is enough to keep them happy.
Summary: This is just what I wanted. A game that everyone can enjoy and laugh to. Doesn't take itself too seriously. My 5 year old can manage it fine too, so it's a game to share. Although as we use the balance board one 1 player at a time.
Very good but not as good as Shaun White Snowboarding.

Conclusion: Family Ski & Snowboard is better as a family game then Shaun White Snowboarding because it is more basic to play. I have been a gamer for over 20 years and it's nice to see my whole family enjoying some of my Wii games at last.
