Summary: My 11-year old son and 13-year old daughter are loving this game, especially the snow-boarding. I don't know anything technical about the actual sports involved (!) or the graphics, but according to my technology-addicted kids, it's a thumbs-up.
Summary: Very realistic ski resort which I think would be a good introduction to prepare people that have never been skiing before on what to expect. For example trying to get onto the right lift to get you to the ski run you want to do. Also great for people reminiscing previous trips. However it also has the Wii magic touch making it great fun for everyone enabling you to do impossible ski jumps and tricks you wouldn't dare try in real life and even silly things like ski up...
Summary: Few ski games for the Wii are good but we liked "Family Ski" a lot and "Family Ski And Snowboard" is even better, 1 mountain in resort style and a freestyle mountain. Both versions of the game are good fun but i can't recommend having both "Family Ski" And "Family Ski And Snowboard" except if you want more variation of the same like we did. Overall a very good ski game for the family, recommended.
Summary: My kid skies & snowboards in RL .So when he saw the game he instantly falls inlove with it. If I let him he will stay all day long on wii board, boarding all the slopes ( which are various & different). Also fun to play in 2 kids when my younger wants to join .worth all the money in the word for the smile on my kids face .
Summary: Bought the wii fit board for my kids and they wanted more games so got them this. The graphics are good and the game play is fun. Takes some getting used to with the board as controller but this soon becomes easy and from then on it is a very enjoyable game for all ages.
Summary: I never owned the older version of this, so I can't compare it to anything, but I love this game. There are two mountains that you can explore. You can do races (either with other people or against the computer, or both), or you can just ski or snowboard around the mountains and explore. There are a LOT of courses you can play around on - and you can be as competitive or as relaxed about it as you want.
Family Ski And Snowboard (Wii): Not the Alps, but it will do.

Summary: Family ski was the first game in the series. It's predecessor has gotten nowhere at all. It is still a good fun game however. One of its main features is the fact you can put your Mii into the game increasing the experience. also during the game there are plenty of different challenges to keep you busy. Also as it uses the balance board and Wii motion controls most of the time making it very uncomplicated.
