Summary: Nice game -very realistic. gave me new respect for the formula 1 drivers. Bought this game used in very good condition. With driving games as a kid I was always turning the device in my hand to no avail, it's really cool to turn the remote and the car turns with you.
Summary: Average out the other reviews and they've got it about right. It isn't the most realistic game ever and some elements of the graphics could be better (wii just isn't up to some other systems) but if you like F1 you will have fun playing this game. The best part is that they got the tracks right. As another reviewer noted, they even include some well known road surface characteristics at various tracks and that is pretty impressive. If you are an F1 fan you will enjoy it.
Summary: Technically speaking, the game is flawless. Amazing graphics, sound, details, its so realistic, even with options to run a whole weekend, from the practices to the race itself. must confess that if you dont like f1 it might seem a bit too much, but if youre a fan of the sport is all you can ask for. Except for a little inconvenient: its too hard to play.
Summary: I got this game for £2 second hand and it's really fun and addictive. Career mode is good and the range of difficulty is good for all ages, but I'm not to sure if it's worth £30 because in terms of driving, there isnt very much.
Summary: The game is a great racing experiencie. Maybe the graphis are really poor if you compare it with what you can get from a PS3 or an XBoX console, but the racing is very good and very fun. It's not an easy game the first time you try your hand at it, but the practice gives you a really big reward if you're an F1 fan. And that's the main point about this game: it's aimed at F1 fans, so if you're a NFS fan you might end up a little bit disappointed.
Summary: This is a great game with a number of options for game play that will keep you busy. The graphics on the PC will probably be better. I actually bought two steering wheels for this game and did not need them as the actual controls via the nunchuk are better for cornering.Lovely game with nice options to undertake challenges and play the part of the racing driver in a number of situations.
Summary: Formula 1 2009 on the wii is a very fun game as it has great controls which really add to the experience, and because of this its really fun trying to beat your previous lap times. The race modes are also very engaging. The career mode is nothing special although it's worth a try. The graphics for this game won't win any awards even for a wii game, however they're still pretty good and they get the job done, the only lag I can find is sometimes at the start of a race...
