Why is this game ranked so highly?

Summary: This game is kind of a mess. It feels fast and there is definitely a lot of creativity going on, but it also doesn't feel like I am doing much. Does steering matter? If I'm not paying attention, I stay on the track, if I try to do stunts, I go flying off the track. Where's the track? Who knows. Just crash and you'll be back on it, and you'll somehow fly to first again. The red bars are the worst. If you get the timing down, lucky you.
Summary: I just rented it and it was very fun but I'm looking for a good 2 player game to play. In 2 player you just race against each other and I don't really care for that. One player was better you actually use the wii style of the game quite a bit. So there's a bit of shaking going on. I like that the courses are big areas not just a tiny road to stay on.
Summary: If you played Excite Truck, you'll have a fair idea of what to expect in this title, except now the racing is more frantic. I was able to get an S rank on the majority of the tracks while placing last--it's just a matter of mastering the plethora of tricks and mini-games. This is a title for someone wanting to play a wacky game, but who also wants some genuine challenge.
