Summary: I was hoping for a more collaborative game, such as Skylanders. However, it is SO easy to injure one another in this game - just by accident - it turned out, all we did was destroy each other's characters over and over again. And then, when the kids played by themselves, they sort of made a game out of just killing each other because frankly, it's so much easier to do than trying to navigate your way through this immense and confusing and dark puzzle.
Summary: I LOVE EPIC MICKEY!! I was so excited to get the power of two... but then I didn't think about what it meant. Playing solo is soooooooo hard. It is not even fun. I am bummed because I like to use my time when the kids are away to play games. I don't want to have to rely on my 5 year old to play with me.
Summary: I bought this for my 5 year old who is great at video games. It is just too hard for him. He got frustrated and gave up. I even bought the paintbrush nunchuck to make it easier and more fun and it was a bust.
Summary: I loved Epic Mickey. I have played it at least 5 times and will play it again. Epic Mickey 2, not so great. As many other reviewers have stated, it is over quite abruptly. I was able to beat this game in a fraction of the time it took me to beat the first game. And where is the Haunted Mansion? The Pirates of the Caribbean? In the first game there was quite a bit relating to all the lands, but here only characters here and there.
They didn't learn from the problems with the first one

Summary: The art is gorgeous, but the gameplay is frustrating at best, and unplayable at worst. The story cut-scenes are good, but when you play, the little floating troll creature is constantly nagging you with repetitions of the same obvious facts. The puzzles still have that issue where they make stupid-obvious things more obvious (with the troll man telling you the same thing repeatedly), and leave other important elements unexplained.
Summary: In terms of what's there, this game is pretty good. I didn't find the camera or AI issues quite as troublesome as some, though getting individual quests or tasks to advance can be absurdly finicky at times. But, now that Junction Point is shuttered, ex-staffers are confirming that Epic Mickey 2 is unfinished: that they experienced a mad crunch as the deadline approached, and roughly half of the planned game was jettisoned while a crude, slapped-together ending was...
