Drawn to Life The Next Chapter is not a game that many adults will like, but that doesn’t matter too much as it’s aimed at children and not adults.  Don’t get me wrong though, adults can like this game, myself included, but kids will love it, it’s bright, colorful and just plain fun for children. If you’ve got small children then you might want to seriously consider getting this game for them, if they’re anything like mine then they’ll love it. Read more

    • +Great kids game, +Lots of fun, +A truly interactive game where you get to design the game itself
    • Most older and adult gamers will not care for this title

Drawn to Life is not the Wii's LittleBigPlanet. Nor does it offer the creative freedom of Scribblenauts, but it is a fun, quality platformer. Read more

    • Clevel physics-based puzzles, Tight platforming
    • Basic, innacurate Wii Remote drawing, Frequent, long loading screens

Platformers are slowly becoming all the rage again. While New Super Mario Bros. Wii's main change from its past incarnations was the ability to play it with up to three other people, and Super Mario Galaxy offered an intriguing 3D aspect to it all that went beyond Mario64, there have been platformers outside of the Super Mario Bros. Franchise that have been trying to reinvent the platformer. Read more

    • Not another Mario platformer, Making your version of the hero, Potential to add to the game environment, as you want, Interesting use of Wii-mote
    • Endurance test using the Wii-mote to create your own designs, No in-game reward for coming up with own designs, Story is not paced well

Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter for the Wii brings us back to the citizens of Raposa who just happen to be the guardians of the Book of Life. After having finally rebuilding from the damage Wilfre did in the first instalment of Drawn to Life, the people of Raposa find themselves in trouble once again. When the Book of Life goes missing, along with a series of items throughout the village, Mari, the new mayor of Raposa, seeks the aid of the Creator to provide a Hero. Read more

With a game that’s as ambitious as Scribblenauts, people are sure to take notice of any game that 5th Cell were involved in, even if they felt that the idea was part of a weak game. The concept for the original Drawn to Life was dreamed up by 5th Cell, but for the Wii version of its sequel, Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, development duties have fallen to Planet Moon Studios. There is something very special about the Drawn to Life franchise. It starts with the story of the Creator, and The Book of Life. These concepts are a reality to the millions of Christians around the world, and is a wonderful concept that reaches the majority of Americans. I was pretty stoked to see Drawn to Life The Next Chapter at E3 this year. It may have been slightly overshadowed by so many other wonderful games in THQ’s booth this year. Read more

Drawn to Life was originally a game on the Nintendo DS, created by the wonderful minds at 5th Cell, who also created the recently-released Scribblenauts. Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter is the follow up to the original game. While the DS version was developed by 5th Cell, the Wii version was created by Planet Moon Studios. So, how did the Wii version turn out? Read more

These other unique additions are few in number, but at least they’re here. They take the form of so-called action drawing areas , which are actually blue- or red-bordered boxes hanging in the foreground which can be used to create scalable geometric objects right in the midst of the gameplay. The blue variety is plain and simple: you point within the box and, using the B button, you draw whatever shape, platform, or what-have-you that you think might aid your progress. Read more

While we were worried Planet Moon Studios couldn’t live up to the usual quality of 5th Cell, the team has put out a decent Wii platformer that anyone can admire, despite the targeted, younger demographic. Read more

    • Solid, tight and varied platforming action, Interesting 2D level design, Great IR puzzle moments
    • Touch input preferable for drawing, Annoyingly frequent load screens, Perhaps a little too easy, Poorly executed minigames

I play this game for the Wii with my 11 year old. We both think it's a lot of fun to play. you go from level to level and the game prompts you to draw a certain (usually pretty random things you wouldnt think you'd need to draw, like a shrunken head or a spider), then later on in the game, you see your creations as part of the background. It's a lot of fun! Read more or see product

DRAWN TO LIFE THE NEXT CHAPTER Drawn To Life The Next Chapter is a follow up to the previous game Drawn To Life that was released for the Nintendo DS only. The Next Chapter is available for the Nintendo DS as well as the Nintendo Wii. Drawn To Life The Next Chapter was developed by Planet Moon Studios and published by THQ for the Wii. Drawn To Life is a platform game but its very different in many ways and its one of the first that I have played and actually love. Read more

This is more creative and unique than any other Wii game we've tried. The whole family (8, 13 AND mom and dad) have had a blast with it. It's a wonderful change of pace from the other "family" games we play, and we always end up in a fit of laughter at some point. Read more
