Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo
Video Game Generation
6 April 2011
Summary: Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo
is actually an entertaining change from the usual Wii fare. While not overly tough or deep, the game is enjoyable on its own level, and that’s what really counts in the end.
Pros: Finally I can choose which language I want to hear, and appreciate the damn thing on its own merits as originally intended! Take that, you lousy dubbers!, Well animated, and matches the style of the anime., It’s not all about fights, constipated grunting, and seeing who’s the strongest…
Cons: Fights are too easy…in fact, the entire game is too easy, …and short, It’s not what Dragon Ball gamers were expecting, by a long shot.
Summary: What it comes down to is this is a game that is rate E10+, which means that it is meant for a much younger audience than myself. That being said the fact that I did actually enjoy playing the game with my friend and her family speaks volumes for Namco Bandai accomplishing what they were after, a fun...
Wii Review - 'Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo'
29 January 2010
Summary: Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo promises to thrill fans with the first ever appearance of the original Dragon Ball story on Wii in glorious 3D. Heading back to the early days of the Dragon Ball story, players will control Kid Goku as he sets out on fantastic adventures with his friends.
Excerpt: The original Dragon Ball story debuts on the Wii system for the first time ever, making use of the system's innovative motion technology to lay out the plot. However, where some might welcome this title to the flock with open arms, others might find this new experience a little less than desirable.
Conclusion: Despite the lack of replay value, the time you do spend with Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is time well spent if you are a Dragon Ball fan. The story follows the anime and manga serial, and the gameplay is perfect for older fans of the anime.
Conclusion: I must say that I wasn't expecting to be surprised by this game. Thinking it was nothing more than another console fighting game, I wasn't really expecting much at all. However, as happens many times in my career as a critic, I was happily surprised with the outcome of this game and I'm extremely...
Pros: nette Grafik, ansprechender Einzelspieler
Cons: keine deutsche Sprachausgabe, schwacher Mehrspieler
