Summary: My 3 1/2 year old loves this game, however she loves it more when we play together, even though she can do it on her own. It seems fairly easy for her age, however it takes a little while to get used to how to move the remote to move Dora.
Summary: Some reviewers with 3+ year old children suggest that this is appropriate for kids as low as 3 years old. I wanted to let others know that my 2.5 year old daughter wasn't ready to play this game. This review isn't intended for the greater audience of young explorers, but instead to parents who are curious to know if even younger children were ready to play.
Summary: This game keeps her interest and promotes concentration for her. I've seen improvement in just two weeks in her patience and ability to stop and think things through. She asks for it, first thing, when she arrives at my home. I would recommend it highly.
Summary: My almost three year old daugter loves Dora so she was enthralled by this game. For her age level its a fun game with many different ways to control Dora. The basic gameplay is simple enough although some of the map elements can be a challenge to overcome, particularly jumping out of holes. A slightly older child should have no problems at all but I expect a five or six year old would find the game too easy and repetitive.
Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess (Wii)
26 January 2013
Summary: Excellent choice and our 3 yr old loves it. It didn't take long for her to learn all the button pressing & arm waving required to play the game. It took her about a week to complete it but she continues to play it as if it were the first time. It can be a little bit repeticious however that's only looking at it from a grown ups prospectus. Definitely recommend it & great value for money!!
