Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess (Wii)
26 January 2013
Summary: Excellent choice and our 3 yr old loves it. It didn't take long for her to learn all the button pressing & arm waving required to play the game. It took her about a week to complete it but she continues to play it as if it were the first time. It can be a little bit repeticious however that's only looking at it from a grown ups prospectus. Definitely recommend it & great value for money!!
Excerpt: To the preschooler market Dora and Boots need no introduction - chances are if you hear an under 5 counting in Spanish as they go up the slide, they are a fan rather than a child genius. I bought this game for my 5 year old, as a first experience of playing with a console game - she had previously had a go at some of the games on Wii sport and proved to be pretty clueless.

Pros: easy to play, fun
Cons: doesn't take long to get through the whole thing
Summary: I bought this game for my daughter who is 4 year old. She is a great fan of Dora and really liked the game. The controls are easy to use and with new movements. This is excellent, she really liked the game. The only thing I wish here is if it could be little longer, as my daughter just finished it in one day :-( I would recommend this to little ones who are fan of Dora......
Summary: My daughter is 3 and chose this wii game as a special treat. It is very similar to the diego game that she already has and so she knew what to do straight away. The controls are easy to use and as it is Dora it did keep her interested. She doesn't feel confident enough to play this on her own but then I wouldn't be too keen to just let her play without supervision anyway.
Summary: I bought this for my 4 year old as she is dora mad. She loves playing on it and gets very excited, it also had my 44yr old dad very excited when he was playing it with her. It has 4 stars overall as it is fairly easy to finish, my daughter still plays on it however and has started it again. Definatley worth the money.
Summary: The Wii is the console that seems to provide a great deal for younger audiences and families. Dora The Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow princess is one such title. Dora herself is a well known cartoon character and millions of children love the show which teaches Spanish, counting and other useful pre-school ideas. One of Dora's feature length adventures released as a full animated movie is Dora Saves the Snow Princess.
Conclusion: We bought this for my 5 year old & she loved it. In fact so did I, the graphics were good, story easy to follow & although the levels were quite repetitive, it meant she didn't need to ask for help every 5 mins as she knew how to do it. The only draw back was that it took forever to complete although it did save each level so you could go back to it, but of course she just wanted to get to the part of saving the snow princess, which took a couple of hours.
