Wii Review - 'Dora Saves the Snow Princess'
25 April 2009
Summary: In Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess, players join Dora, Boots and Pirate Piggy on an adventure to save the Magic Snowy Forest from the spell of an evil witch. Over 12 unique motions are used with the Wii Remote to build snowmen, skate on an icy pond, steer a dogsled, ride a snowboard and fly on Pegasus.
Excerpt: Dora the Explorer is back on the Nintendo DS in Dora the Explorer Dora saves the Snow Princess. A wicked witch is holding the Snow Princess hostage and not letting her smile. The only thing worse I can think of is being deprived of accessing Family Friendly Gaming (just joking ya'll). Dora and Boots elect themselves to go and save her. This is where this DS game starts to act like a television episode.
Conclusion: Unfortunately Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess is an overly simplistic and repetitive platform game that won’t even entertain the kids for more than half an hour. Your so called “Dora” money would be better spent on DVD’s of the TV show.
