Summary: Here's an adult perspective. This game is a challenge, but not in a good way. Bad design makes it a challenge. Very inconsistent in level difficulty. Check points are very spread out and, in some cases, right at the end of the level. Pointless. One mistake and you start all over... If you are without Diddy, you can get hit twice. With Diddy, four times. Controls are sluggish so you tend to get hit, miss a jump, or land on something.
Summary: I bought this game last week and I pass all the worlds already but now I know the game doesn't have the same quality graphics and worlds that the original from SNES.and the boos of the game are very ridiculous. I was very happy when I saw the news about the donkey kong country returns but now I'm very upset because the game don't have good graphics and is completely difference that the last donkey kong from snes.
Summary: Beware if you have Wii U -- doesn't work on it. Not sure if it's my copy only but my Wii U did not recognize this gave at all when I inserted it, so my son and myself couldn't play it. Sent it back. Free returns with Amazon. Love that part!
Conclusion: If you are fan of the Donkey Kong series and that you are not familiar with the new elements and contain a few characters that we know seen in this game. Don't get this, it just isn't the same.
