Summary: I love this game especially the walkthroughs so you know how to complete a level. I love the boss levels and that you can buy extra hearts. The graphics are also great. This is great for older children.
Summary: If you love the old DK games; you should def check out this game. In my opinion it is exactly like the old DK country but modernized. The graphics are great and the controls are just fun! I love how you shake the controller up and down to make DK and Diddy smack their hands on the ground or to attack things! I think that's very clever. I do feel that this game is a bit challenging, which I am happy about. I definitely feel this game is for the whole family, BUT ....
Summary: (They could have kept this. get the Mario Bros wii game.) For someone who haven't play any DK Country before, then it a good game for ya to play. Game play was nice in 2-player mode (In 1-player mode. you could not use Diddy at all) Little hard to play at first but you will catch on quick. But if you have the DK Country like I have back in the day, then this game was a joke . Since Microsoft brought out Rave (people who made the DK games) the DK games have suck!!
Summary: I like this game. It resembles new super mario bros wii but it has a different way of playing. It gets extremely hard when you get to world 4. I would still recomend this game to a nintendo fan.
Summary: This is a great game and I think it is one worth buying, but keep it mind that it can be very difficult. This is coming from a guy who can beat the hardest of games. Getting to the final boss is not a huge challenge, but for anyone who wants to complete the game in its entirity you are in for some frustration. Even after you beat the game you have to get all of the kong letters and puzzles pieces, and some levels took me over 100 lives to complete.
Summary: I consider myself to be a platforming veteran. I've collected most of the stars in Super Mario 64 DS and all of them in Super Mario Galaxy. I've beaten New Super Mario Bros Wii and Metroid Fusion. One would think I could play most platformers with relative ease. So when I got Donkey Kong Country Returns, I was served a big piece of humble pie. DKCR is easily one of the most difficult games I have ever played.
Summary: Great game! Truthfully, I never layed the original DKC games but this one suits me just fine. It will keep you playing for a loooong time! (Hey, you there... Collect all KONG letters in a world for something special, don't tell anyone else...
Summary: My sister (16) and I (15) LOVE this game; we couldn't put it down to save our lives! My younger sister (11) isn't much of a gamer, so she doesn't get as much enjoyment out of this game as she should. There are remixed songs from the originals (simply AMAZING), and the new songs are just as awesome (plus, you can listen to the music uninterrupted by sound-effects in the extras section).
