Summary: This game is not only one of the best on Wii. It's the best Platformer ever. PROS: DK is back. The 2D levels are perfectly designed. Now you can play cooperative with another player simultaneously (this was impossible on previous DK titles). CONS: In some stages, it's really frustrating trying to beat it in 2 player mode due to timing. The second player has to resign and stay safely at DK's back until the first player finds a safe zone - if there is one.
Summary: I think I paid 25 at the time of purchase (ended up buying two, one for me, one for a friend). Chose in-store pick up, got home sat down and started playing. I am a veteran of the console games of yesteryear, which included the original Donkey Kong (think I had it on Intellivision). At 28 years old now, having played all Donkey Kong games since, I can honestly say this one is better than the original Donkey Kong Country for SNES.
Summary: I love this game especially the walkthroughs so you know how to complete a level. I love the boss levels and that you can buy extra hearts. The graphics are also great. This is great for older children.
Summary: Donkey Kong Country Returns is a worthy sequel to the original games. I'm really glad they didn't try to make it in full 3D like the last one on the N64. The gameplay is almost exactly like the ones you grew up with except with a few updated twists. The difficulty is pretty good and the length is pretty long. One of the best things about this game is that it has co-op so both you and a friend can work together to complete the game.
great game but a lil harder than the original lots of new features tho

Summary: Nintendo proves they are still a front runner of the video game industry with this nostalgic addition to the Donkey Kong franchise. Rather than innovating something dissatisfying, Nintendo decided to revamp the SNES classic Donkey Kong Country to format a new era and new system. You will love the picturesque graphics, the limitless secrets and the interactive play-style the Wii is known for as you go through the challenging levels (about 8-10 per world, 8 worlds +1 bonus...
