Summary: I was fortunate enough to have an SNES when the first Donkey Kong Country hit stores in 1994. That game changed everything in the console war between Nintendo and Sega, and the graphics alone blew everyone's mind. Essentially, DKC was a Super Mario World clone, but my god did it have style.
Summary: Back in the days of the SNES and Genesis, I was an extremely young gamer, just earning my gaming wings. I had a SNES, and along with Goof Troop and A Link to the Past, one of my first games were the original Donkey Kong Country.

Summary: Being a fan of the original Donkey Kong, I felt a 2.5-D side-scrolling video game would be a step back from the Nintendo 64 version of Donkey Kong. I was very surprised at how much fun this game was immediately after purchasing.

Pros: So much fun. If you liked the side scrolling ones for SNES, you will LOVE this one. Same controls and feel. Much better graphics(as expected), new abilities, and some fun new features. One of my favorite games.
Cons: The only thing I could think of is that this game is a bit short. I know it is not meant for 20-year-olds, and becasue of that I didnt have much trouble with the levels and was able to beat most of it within a few days. However, there are some unloackable levels that are VERY difficult. Not reall...
