Summary: Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer. This is my review on DKC Returns wii game. Well it's really fun I'm not use to moving all over the place when playing a video game but over all very fun. Me & my dad made it to world 4 in the game. It play's sort of like the SNES game but only in 3d graphic's now. My dad's more a fan of DKC than I am but I like the game too. Overall really fun wii game & would recommend to anyone who's a DKC fan. Happy Gaming!
Summary: If you were a gamer back in the Super NES days and did not own the Donkey Kong Country games, then there is a federal crime on the books somewhere that you guilty of. Initially they amazed us because of how they pushed 16-bit graphics to a limit previously deemed unthinkable (and still look extremely impressive today!), but they found their staying power in that beyond their visual beauty, they were amazingly fun, addictive and challenging games that never grew old.
Summary: I was never a fan of the original DKC, but the new version is an absolute treat. I've known Donkey Kong all my life; some of my fondest memories are of sitting on a cracked vinyl stool at a run-down pizzeria while a gorilla threw barrels at a stocky Italian man. So I feel a deep connection with the Big Man himself, and less so for all the crappy sub characters introduced in the Rare titles. Dixie, Funky, and all those other z-listers can get lost as far as I'm concerned.
Summary: I've always been a gaming fanatic. At the age of 5, my uncle introduced me to a computer gaming system he was working on at his job called Atari. That cinched it I guess. I keep up with all the new concepts and play a wide variety of games, but I've always loved the classics since I grew up with them. I jump at the "oldies" and remakes etc. When I saw a new version of Donkey Kong was available I had to have it.
Summary: this was a gift for my daughter and her boyfriend. she absolutely loves it since she remembered the old school donkey kong. she went and bought the corresponding book too, so i am convinced this gift was a hit. also the price was lower than most.
Summary: The focus group for this review consisted of two thirty something year old adults, both male and female and two children, one nine and the other seven. Obviously there was no real focus group for this review, the only reason I tell you the genders and ages, is to show how this game appealed to everyone who played it in my household, just in case you're on the fence about picking this game up for yourself or someone else.
Excerpt: My 5 year old, 8 year old, husband and I all enjoy playing this game. The graphics are amazing and get better with each level. The challenges also get better with each level. Most appreciated is how easy it is to navigate through the game. We originally rented this game and then purchased because it was so much fun.
Pros: challenging levels, Easily navigated, FUN FOR ALL AGES, Great graphics
