A worthy remake, though hard

Summary: Until recently, those of us who grew up on (and loved) 2D side-scrolling platform games had been suffering a 15-year starvation. The rather awesome reincarnation of New Super Mario Brothers Wii put an end to that in 2009, while this year we get a restoring of the other most beloved game of the genre, Donkey Kong Country (yes, more beloved, and better, than any Sonic).
Summary: When my wife and I saw previews for this game, we both decided together immediately that we would get it. We both had hyper levels of nostalgia for the classic trilogy of Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES, and when I saw that Retro studios, the geniuses behind the best Metroid games in the franchise ( I'm referring to the amazing Metroid Prime Trilogy, for those sadly unacquainted ), I knew this sequel/reboot would be of the highest quality. We were not disappointed.
Summary: It's hard, but that's what makes it so awesome... The multi player is one of the best co-op i've ever played, and that makes it all the more fun... If you have a Wii and you're here to read about the game, buy it already...
Summary: Donkey Kong Country Returns is a welcome return for many fans of this classic title back in the SNES days. It has remained one of the most played after games even till now. This new game of the classic title has gone up a notch in every department, from graphics, animation, levels, gameplay etc. If you like old school platforming games with varieties, this will be it as the game offers enough challenge yet providing an enjoyable experience.

Summary: Ever since we bought our first Wii years ago we have been waiting for them to transfer this game into the Wii platform. When I saw that it was coming out this fall I was SO excited and hoped that I wouldn't be disappointed. Well... I'm not! This game is wonderfully versatile. It is difficult enough that my husband and I cannot beat all of the levels on the first try, and that's just beating it, not trying to collect every little puzzle piece and extra bonus.
Summary: If you want to see my Video Review please go to [...] When Donkey Kong Country was released in 1994 it took the world by storm. The core formula back then was fast paced gameplay, wacky level design, precise controls and an absurd tough difficulty. Since Rare, the Developer of the Original, had been assimilated by Microsoft there was a need for somebody to step it up and bring back the good old donkey Love.
Summary: For the entire 14 years of time that have passed between the last Donkey Kong Country game, I would have never expected another sequel to pop up in the Donkey Kong Country series. Looking back from when I was watching E3 2010 on my television, I still can't believe how ecstatic I was for an unexpected Donkey Kong Country game.
Summary: OK, so I remember playing this in N64 back in the day, and I didn't think that they could recreate the fun of the original, but they ABSOLUTELY did. This game did not disappoint at all; the graphics are the best I've seen on Wii, it's challenging, but not absurdly so, and the co-op play is great! If all games were like this, I'd have to quit my job and play Wii full-time. Great job, Nintendo!
Summary: Since most games are crap, A good game only comes out once in a while. I am an older fella and have fond boyhood memories of sitting in my underwear, playing nes at 5am. Games like spyhunter drove me nuts, I would be ruled by the game. The difficulty was so extreme and I can say that about most nes and snes games. Well, Donkey Kong country returns is a flash into the past. At first I was all excited about the 2d action and the game being fun from the get go.
