This is a great DK racing game...........

Slick, Amazon

  • Summary: Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast is an excellent Wii game. As if the Wii doesn't have enough great games, this one goes on to that mile-long list. The Wii has the best control, (Wiimote, Nunchuk) very easy for even clueless idiots to play any game smoothly. Next, we compare good games on 3 consoles: PS3 & PS4 .....................................................0 XBOX360 ....................................................

  • Summary: This is a fun race game. I've played alone and with others and find it enjoyable once we remember which controls do what.

  • Summary: As a "Donkey Kong" games fanatic who has played such awesome games for years like "Donkey Kong Country 1-3", "Diddy Kong Racing", and "Donkey Kong 64"......this game is TERRIBLE!!!!!! At first, I was very excited when I first heard about this game and thought it would be a great game. I was inspired by the beta screenshots of the game when it was then known as "DK Bongo Blast".

One of my favorite games!

K. Howley, Amazon
28 October 2010
  • Summary: I love this game! It's silly, fun, and you get to sabotage other players! Plus up to 4 people can play simultaneously. In response to another reviewer who said you have to constantly shake your remotes throughout the entire game, this is not true. Once you reach full speed, you only have to shake a remote once or twice if you want to turn, and/or lift your remotes if you want to jump.

Flying with Bongos

Joshua Jacobsen "drowlord@drowlord.com", Amazon

  • Summary: I am somewhat stunned at the high-rated reviews for this game. On most technical levels this game is fine -- and typical of the wii. However the gameplay is morbidly bad. So bad that all of people that I personally know to have played this game hated it almost immediately. I love Mario Kart, but had played it to a point that it wasn't as entertaining anymore.

fun for even adults

C. Briggs, Amazon

  • Summary: Look.. I'm married and we have a blast playing this! It's a race and if you have played Mario Kart it is along the same venue. You will work up a sweat. You can do the most fun obstacles to your partner! I haven't played with 4 people yet..and that is sometimes confusing with the limited space but can't wait to try!We never have a quiet game! It really is fun! Even structred civiliazed adults need to engage their inner child!

Nice work out

Hoofy, Amazon

  • Summary: I really like Mario Kart, so before it was out I tried this one. I now have Mario Kart and love it, but this one is different enough that I still love to play it. It is a nice work out for your arms, and is lots of fun. Different tracks and technique than just racing.
