Summary: After two times sending the game back we gave up and decided to get a refund instead of an exchange. My granddaughter enjoyed playing it until it stopped and kept shutting down the Wii system. Too bad too because their are not a lot of games for girls.
Summary: I purchased this for my 4 year old daughter for her birthday. Some of the things in this game are fine, like creating your own princess, but trying to navigate to other areas of the game were difficult to me the adult so there's no way a young child could do it. Using the numchuk was challenging to her at first also. It didn't meet our expectations for an age appropriate game for her.
Summary: Purchased this game for my 6 year old daughter after reading all the wonderful reviews. Game is cute and fairly easy, but it is full of bugs. Everytime we get to a part in the story line that has a mini game, we have to reset the game and start again. The pointer function of the wiimote will not work for the mini-games. I did an online search and found that we are not the only ones who have a flawed game, this problem seems to be fairly common.
Summary: I had read a previous review where the mother said her 3 year old daughter loved this game, so I bought it!! But she was bored with it in 3 seconds!... I wish they would just have used the one controller instead of adding the nunchuk to it also, it makes it hard for kids under 5. I got bored of it within 30 min myself and I love disney. So please ages 5 and up! but no older than 7 cause it gets too easy.
Summary: Purchased this for my 5 yr old. The game is very non-intuitive. It's just sponging off the Disney Priness name. I (her dad) tried it myself and I've played MANY video games w/o picking-up a manuel with no issue. But this one is not designed well. It's not easy to follow at all. I can only say for those who gave it a high rating, I'm assuming they had mediocre expectations at best. In summary, purchase another game.
Summary: This game is perfect for your 4 year old, if your 4 year old happens to be 13. My daughter is 5 and loves princesses. She wants so deperately to play this game, but the controls are un necessarily complicated. Instead of enjoying her tiime with it, she is frustrated, cries, and begs for help. The game uses the numchuks, thumbstick, A, B, Z and pointing when as the Dora games show, you can do everything with just the wand and the 2 button.
Summary: My daughter got this as a present for Christmas. She finished the game in a day. Total playing time was about 9-10 hours maybe less. She is 7 years old. The game is way to easy. She loved the game but she has already finished it. Was fun playing as a princess but at $40.00 wait for this to be in the bargin bin.
