The Wii version

K. Shepard, Amazon
12 June 2011
  • Summary: This game is fun on the Wii if you are using the Logitec Speedforce steering wheel. I am a little disappointed how much this game is unlike the versions for Playstation and the PC. It lacks some of the freedom of choice. Overall a fun game, however.

Dirt 2 + Logitech Speed Force Wireless Wheel = FUN!

J. Moore, Amazon
15 February 2011
  • Summary: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT playing Dirt 2 on the Wii without the Logitech Speed Force Wireless Wheel. I received the Logitech Speed Force Wireless Wheel as a gift. Unfortunately there are very few games which take advantage of the wheel and the one it was designed for, Formula One 2009, is very expensive. I found out that Dirt 2 is a compatible game and picked up a copy. I'm glad I did.

Philip J. Brill, Amazon
8 October 2010
  • Summary: The game is fun, especially with the steering wheel, but the inputs are extremely touchy. I would like to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the controls.

Great with classic controller

3ds commuter, amazon.co.uk
15 May 2012
  • Summary: I bought this game about 2 years ago as I wanted a racing game for the Wii, but for some reason never really got into it. I found the steering with the wiimote to be tedious, difficult and not intuitive - perhaps using the Plus accessory should have been considered by the developers? But I got myself a classic controller recently, and this being one of only a few games that I own that supports it, I decided to throw it back in just for a quick test run.

great game

bobby spanners, amazon.co.uk
1 March 2012
  • Summary: Great game with good graphics and drives just like a real rally car, although normal drivers need time to get used to the controls. Stable game which is reliable and fun to use. For the price- good entertainment.

Realistic Rallying

David Highfield "Dave H", amazon.co.uk
8 February 2010
  • Summary: In my opinion this is a realistic attempt at a rallying game. The cars are meant to be difficult to master, and they are - well, at least to certain extent. Initially it is very frustrating as the car is almost never on the track, but once you have started to get a feel for the controls then things start to get better.

Really Good

Nova1600, Play.com
16 December 2009
  • Conclusion: After reading some bad reviews of this game elsewhere i was pleased to find its nothing like the rubbish game it was made out to be.Graphics arent amazing but theyre not bad either especially by wii standards, cars and terrains are realistic and it keeps a steady framerate.Controls take a little getting used as theyre more sensitive than need for speed games but this adds realism to the game and once mastered they work really well.
