Summary: This game was good, but lasting appeal is not.The graphics were ok,but could've been better. The gameplay was good, and the races were challenging. The choice of cars was good, and the ability to switch levels of driving aids was also good. The drift video of ken block was also a unique feature.Overall the creators made a good game, but should put more thought into the next one. There are almost no customizing options which rots.I enjoyed the game, but haven't played it in a...
Summary: I purchased a Wii steering wheel before I knew there were very few games that work with it. This is one of those games so I purchased it out of lack of choices. There are a number of different types of cars ranging from sports cars like the 350z to trucks like the Dodge Ram and Ford F150 to custom off road vehicles and races vary from very fast road type races with very little off road to races in sand and ice which all have different handling characteristics.
Summary: This is a fun game to play with friends, and some of the cars are cool, but racing is difficult. If you are trying to beat the computer, it will take some work to learn how to properly control the car with the wii. The graphics aren't awesome either.
Summary: is a good game, the graphics look like N64, good for the price. it's fun. could be better, but i guess because is for the Wii, the couldn't add some features to it. the main menu it's an old style menu, believe me it's like a N64 game. but still fun to play, the sound is good, it's easy to control the cars, not so realistic. cars should be customizable, but no you just can change the skin on them and that's it, well let's keep playing and sell it back few weeks later.
Summary: Ok, Dirt 2. Well the game isn't so bad racing wise. It fun, and semi challenging because of the type of the off-road racing aspect of the game. The games graphics are mediocre but thats expected from a Wii game. There are only a hand full of cars to use and they cannot be customized. You can use multiple styles of certain cars but you cannot customize them yourself.
Summary: I pre ordered this game as I was reasonably excited about it having on-line gameplay, as stated in the first Amazon description, I was very disappointed to find that it doesn't, even though amazon and gameplay said it did? The cars drive reasonably well though and the off-line play is OK, and challenging, there is enough to keep you busy for a while, but had I known it didn't have online play I wouldn't have ordered it.
Summary: Yes, the first time I tried this game, I found it almost impossible to stay on the track. However, persevere and you'll get better. I suggest you do not keep your finger/thumb on the accelerator all the time, but keep giving it quick and repeated 'bursts' and, like with real rallying, anticipate the corners, don't wait till the last moment before turning. Also can't see much difference in the car handling with using the handbrake compared to the full brakes.
