While the game is perfect in many ways it does have a couple problems. It may seem like I am nit-picking but the lifeless fan models that you will encounter as you circle the courses frustrate me to no end. Maybe it is just that every other graphical piece is so polished that the mannequin like fans seems like such a glaring error. Another bone of contention I have with the game is the lack of a damage model. Read more

In Konami’s latest Wii game, Dewy’s Adventure, the creators vastly overestimated their target audience’s gaming ability. The point of Dewy’s Adventure is to get Dewy, a lovable little water droplet, across various levels, and at the end he’ll face off with one of the six world bosses. Read more

    • Clean and colorful look; weather effects and temperature changing dynamic provide unique twists.
    • Care Bears meets Teletubbies art direction; camera doesn't always keep the action in view.

Nintendo’s Wii system is chock full of cutesy titles geared towards the younger or casual gamer. While some see this as a good thing I am somewhat concerned that Nintendo’s onslaught of 3rd party games seems to be all over the map as the Wii is targeting everyone, young and old, male or female. Don’t get me wrong, but what about us hardcore gamers who have kept the industry alive for so long. Read more

Sliding through the levels of Dewy’s Adventure and icing up or melting areas to reach the end made the game feel like it could be an interesting platformer. I could look the other way when it came to the overly cute graphics and sounds emanating from my Wii. However, the unresponsive controls and frustrating health system started to interfere with the amount of fun I had with the game. Read more

This game I thought it be really fun. And at first it is with the little story and everything. But when u go to battle the bosses the directions are not that clear. Im stuck on the 2nd boss and im a master at wii video games. This one i got to give a 1 star. The controls are hard somethimes (like jumping) and the directions arent always clear. Sorry Dewy. Dewy’s Adventure is a game for the Nintendo Wii. The game is aimed at children, but is quite challenging, so would be suitable for adults as well who like arcade, puzzle type games. You play the game by tilting the controller, as you play the character of Dewy, a droplet of water. This is quite hard to get used to at first, and can be a little clunky at times, but is a relatively innovative and interesting way of playing a game, and certainly attracts the interest of... Well done to Konami for this innovative game, fantastic fun for children and adults. Has echo's of other Konami hits such as Frogger but with lots of new and exciting ways to use the Wii controls. A warning though - this is quite addictive and when the children finish playing it's hard not to pick up and while a way a level or two yourself! Cheaper than other Wii games and definately one to have in the collection. Read more

Konami came up with a very unique game, Dewey’s Adventure. This game features cute little animals in a child’s art style format which is too childish for grow-ups and a bit complicated for young children. Dewey’s Adventure is a fairy tale-inspired story which begins with Eau, which are little creatures that live in a tree of seven colors, are captured by the Don Hedron and their little tree is destroyed by a summoned black rain. To save and protect itself, the Elder Tree produces Dewy, a lovable water droplet to bring back peace to the tree and also to the many creatures that reside within it. Dewy’s is armed with essential power-ups. A simple press of the directional pad allows Dewy to dramatically alter the temperature around him. As water can be changed into solid, liquid and gas, so Dewy will transform itself accordingly. If everything around is freezed. Dewy becomes a shard of ice that overwhelms physical attacks and combos. If heat is increased, Dewy evaporates into a cloud that seeks doom from above, even if the cloud is unable to move it can shock his enemies with some very powerful lightning. Dewey’s Adventure is fun, plain and simple. The graphics are energetic and very stylized, the puzzles are well thought of and well paced.. Though the voice acting is not so good it is funny and the game is challenging enough to keep you playing. Complex puzzles compounded by fixed camera angles make Dewey somewhat complicated for kids.
