Dead Space: Extraction

Game Over Online
15 October 2015
  • Excerpt: It’s Like… …a surprisingly complete Dead Space experience on the Wii. Other than a switch from a third-person to a first-person on-rail shooter, Visceral Games compromised very little in bringing their survival horror franchise to the Wii. Extraction serves as a prequel to Dead Space.

Dead Space: Extraction

Square-Go
12 November 2009
  • Excerpt: There’s a reason not many games are ported from Xbox / PS3 to the Wii, the power of everyone’s favourite white box simply isn’t up to handling the graphics of many PS2 games, never mind those of the newest console generation.

Dead Space: Extraction

D+PAD
16 October 2009
  • Conclusion: Dead Space: Extraction is a welcome shot in the arm for the Wii, which has arguably been lacking these sorts of experiences since its very inception. A must for all Dead Space fans, then, but what it lacks in scares and scale it makes up for in visceral heart-pounding action.

Digital Chumps
4 October 2009
  • Conclusion: Surprisingly, Extraction doesn't suffer because of its genre or its hardware.
