No save feature!

Red Dancer ""Heather"", Amazon

  • Summary: I'm not sure why this game is getting such good reviews. The one major downfall, and it's a big one, is that there is NO save feature. This means you have to complete an entire level before you quit. These aren't short 15 minute levels either. It can take anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete one and if you want to quit beforehand, forget it. You'll have to start ALL over. Sorry, but this completely ruins the game for me.

Use plenty of white-out!

  • Summary: I really loved the concept of this game. Reading reviews, I thought it'd be the perfect game for my 8-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, the game is completely unplayable by her; it's way too hard and she gets easily frustrated. In fact, the game is way too hard for me too! The controls of this game are poorly implemented. We spend a lot of time missing jumps and having to climb back to where we were when we started, and all the while the clock is tick-tick-ticking down.

Missed opportunity

Android, Amazon

  • Summary: As a parent, I can say this game is great for kids (and adults, of course) but one fundamental flaw ruins it for our family. Unless you have at least a half hour to spare, and longer in some cases, you cannot get to a save point. I repeat: you must play for a LONG time (especially young kids who cannot rush through a level) in order to get to a save point.

A disappointing game overall but perhaps just not our cup of tea.

  • Excerpt: My son asked for this game when he was six and my daughter was five and I thought it looked really good so got it for him. I wish I hadn't though! The premise of this game is that de Blob has to restore colour to his city Chroma which has been taken over by Comrade Black and the INKT Corporation and drained of all colour.

  • Summary: I bought this game after hearing so many positive things about it, and for the first three levels, i was pretty impressed. But then i realise you are doing the same things over and over again. Race, beat up a few enemies, and paint an area all in a single colour. This game is best played in short bursts. It just wasn't for me.

Bad Blob...

  • Summary: In this game you have to paint different towns. It's a bit boring and you can't even properly save the game until you get to the next level. It's quite hard and take a while to get the hang of. The graphics are good and the game is very colourful. I think you need to be over 12 to master the game.
