Fun, but I think the PS2 version's mat was better.
3 March 2015
Summary: I have an older Wii (about four years old), so I have the port necessary to use this mat. I ordered the game to encourage physical activity. I had played the PS2 version many times, years ago, and had fond memories of it. The game is still fun, but I find this mat sticky.
Summary: I originally bought this game as a potential substitute for working out when I don't have time to make it to the gym. It doesn't provide a very good work out and should be used for fun rather than fitness. It's a tad different than what I remember from 10+ years ago, but still the same game!
Summary: I see a lot of reviews saying this will not work with the newer wii. Yes this is correct. They should put a notice under the title referring to this issue. I did a lot of research trying to find out if it was even possible to make it work.
Summary: This game is far better than the previous DDR release on the Wii (titled "Dance Dance Revolution"). My favorite new feature is the option to play through a full song instead of just an excerpt. I also like that you can now play as one player with 2 dance pads for an extra challenge.
Summary: Just bought this a few weeks ago and I love it. For people concerned with mat accessories not being compatible. I own the Mario kart bundle red wii that was bought December of 2011 and I can plug the mat into my wii and it works perfectly.
