Summary: My mom and i work out to this everyday about a half hour.. She stands next to me. She doesn't use the pad so she can wear her socks on the carpet she is 80 and her blood pressure got better right away. I have already lost about 5 pounds. We are just using the dance mode not the workout mode. It allows us to go at our own pace and it is fun.The music motivates you to go faster and not notice the workout so much.
Fun, but I think the PS2 version's mat was better.

Summary: I have an older Wii (about four years old), so I have the port necessary to use this mat. I ordered the game to encourage physical activity. I had played the PS2 version many times, years ago, and had fond memories of it. The game is still fun, but I find this mat sticky. I like to do DDR barefoot, and my feet stick to the mat. It makes it difficult to do fast songs, because I can't un-stick my feet around fast enough to get to the next arrow!
Summary: I originally bought this game as a potential substitute for working out when I don't have time to make it to the gym. It doesn't provide a very good work out and should be used for fun rather than fitness. It's a tad different than what I remember from 10+ years ago, but still the same game! I think it is a lot of fun and you don't have to be a "good" dancer to play it. This comes with both the game and the dance pad.
