Summary: It does not register the arm movements very well, DDR Wii is better at that. The songs awkwardly cut off part way through. The music video are pretty amusing I guess. The song are average, but there is a lot of variety. Using Miis as back-up dancers is hilarious.
Summary: The shippment went smoothly and everything related to the sell was right. The game, not so great; graphics sucks but is okey if you want the game just to have fun with your friends one boring night.
Summary: I have ddr2 but was getting bored with the songs so thought this would be a good change. Have only played a few times since purchase, but so far doesn't seem to have the same hand controller options. Almost seems like a step backwards. Maybe I just need to unlock some more options to get the hand waives back?!
Summary: I have played some of the DDR games for PS2. We got rid of the PS2 a few years ago, and I haven't played DDR in a while. I needed to lose a few pounds, so I thought I'd pick up a bundle for the Wii that we bought for my son last Christmas. The songs are ok, but there's nothing I get really excited about. I much prefer the dance-type songs that were in the older versions. No big deal, but the biggest irritation is the lack of a cancel button.
Summary: Why is the ONLY version of this game a bundle? If you like dance games, you're probably like me and have more than one of them. Why won't they sell the game separately WITHOUT a dance pad? I already have dance pads coming out my butt! I have 3 of them! Why should I pay for yet another pad that I will never use? How hard is it to sell the game separately? The games are good but this "bundle-only" thing is infuriating.
Summary: Hottest Party 3 is the second DDR game I own for the Wii--the first one being Hottest Party 2. The game is fun, uses both feet and hands for dance moves, but the hands may be disabled. The game offers several modes of play for single and multiple players including a workout mode that is very effective.
Summary: Haven't used it yet, as for Christmas, but have to go out today to get an adaptor, so it can be used. Thankfully I read these reviews, who advised me the dance mat does not fit all Wii consoles, you have to buy an adaptor.
