Not a bad way to stay fit

Allison, Amazon
3 October 2010
  • Summary: The overall impression of this product is good, however, the timing of the music and the dance steps could have been a little better coordinated in my opinion. I was used to the PS2 DDR Extreme 2 prior to using this one for Wii and feel the PS2 version is better coordinated and flows better overall.

Dance, Dance Revolution

Duane O'neill "Chilly", Amazon
11 February 2010
  • Summary: The Hottest Party 2 is a great party game. What more fun can you have when you gather a bunch of people together and make fools of themselves on the dance floor. Lots of good dance music and lots of dance steps to learn, but the best part is watching others try to keep up. Great fun.

Lots of fun!

MA, Amazon
12 January 2010
  • Summary: The game is fun for all ages! There is a setting on the game that lets you play together so my 3 year old can play with his big sisters and not lose because they can keep up the points! The adults played against each other on New Years and had a blast! Lots of fun! Better with at least 2 mats!

Good for the price

  • Summary: Home casual player. Fun. Little hard for old fat body. NutChunk sensor seems not work very well. If more songs from different countries would be better.

Fun Stuff

Michael J. Greenberg, Amazon
26 December 2009
  • Summary: The different game modes made just wanting to start dancing a bit confusing but once we got the hang of it, the game's a blast. Beginner level is easy enough for my 5 year old nephew to keep up and advanced is absolutely brutal.

So far so good

Amazon Customer, Amazon
12 June 2009
  • Summary: So far I love it - when I can use it (I have a 2 month old baby)! I am not a gamer but bought it for workout purposes. I'm only on beginner level and I'm already feeling the burn! Highly recommended!

DDR II with Konami Mat

Timothy H. Amnott, Amazon
28 March 2009
  • Summary: I bought this as a Christmas present for my teenaged daughter and it hasn't been unplugged from the Wii console yet! She never realized that something good for her could also be so much fun. I have reserations about the durability and safety of the Konami mat, though.

For workout purposes: If you could do Jazzercise, you can do this (with the right option settings), even with joint disease

AC, Amazon
28 March 2009
  • Summary: Okay, I am not a huge gamer, and our Wii hasn't even had time to gather dust. But friends with PlayStation have been telling me about DDR for several years, and how much I would enjoy it, especially for the exercise aspect. So I bought this package - game + mat.
