What a great family product!!
24 June 2012
Summary: Every member of my family from grown ups down to the three year old have such a good time with it. The only annoying thing about it is using the remotes when you play. For most activities you can turn that feature off. Overall, though, SO MUCH FUN!!!
Summary: I bought this set mainly because you get two dance pads instead of one. I love being able to play with my son and dance. The Disney songs are also really fun! It helps us both be active on those days when you can't really be outside. Over all I highly recommend this. I love that I can go into the next room and let my son play by himself. I love it!
Summary: This game is so much fun! I don't even have kids and I lose track of time playing it. It has a great selection of the old Disney songs, some of which have been redone and others have been left in their original form. If you prefer the newer Disney Channel songs you will be dissappointed because there are no Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana songs, but if you love the classics you'll enjoy this.
Summary: My kids are 7, 5 & 2 and they really enjoy this game! There are a variety of settings available so the kids are able to pass levels even when they are in the very uncoordinated stages. It is a little tricky to set-up the game to their level and there are a lot of steps that ask questions and may require basic reading. Once your non readers get the hang of it, they will be able to select what they want just fine though.
Summary: We've had this game for 10 months now. My 13 yr old rarely uses it, but I (53 yrs old) have used it a lot. It is so easy to burn off calories because it is so much fun I simply want to do another song and another song...! I thought the Disney music might be too juvenile, but I'm really glad I chose the Disney version because the songs are fun and sometimes funny.
Summary: Dance Dance Revolution Disney Grooves Includes Two Dance Mats I should preface this by saying I am new to the video game world. I bought my Wii basically for the exercise. I'm a 48 year old woman who never dreamed I would ever own a video game, much less Dance Dance Revolution. I bought the Disney DDR and promptly placed the game in the Wii console, read the instructions and scrolled through the different characters and costumes.
Summary: I have always liked DDR but never enough to buy it. However, when I saw there was a Disney version I couldn't resist. Let me start by talking about the hand motions since it seems to be an issue for most people! Like the other reviewers, I was at first frustrated by the lack of accuracy when shaking the remote and/or nunchuck as instructed.
Summary: We got this for our daughters ages 12 and 10 for Christmas. They are really enjoying it. The music is appropriate so I know I don't have to go through the entire song list and ban songs that they should not hear. I don't think boys would enjoy this game as much as girls. We like it and hope there will be more games available to use with the mats.
