Summary: Cranium Kabookii is, in my experience, about as much fun as the board game from the same folks. The greatest weakness seems to me to be that the balance of questions can be odd (you may get a very easy question followed by one that seems totally obscure) If there is some sort of algorithm operating to give harder questions to folks who get a bunch right in a row (or easy questions to folks who keep missing them) I don't know what it is.
Summary: I bought this game for my family since we are avid fans of the Cranium game series. Once we popped it in we were very pleased overall with the quality of gameplay. After playing it a few times I now see what can be considered major flaws in the gameplay itself. You are given a pair of "decoder goggles" so that they can display the answer to the person that needs to be drawing or acting.
Conclusion: All big board games have been successful because they all have either been easily accessible or good old social fun, which is why we took playing a family game of Cranium on the Wii with some caution.
Conclusion: I bought this game for my 10 year old; she plays ot all the time with her friends. They enjoy it very much and are learning a lot of new things from it. It is very varied and interesting, easy to understand and one of their favourite games.
Conclusion: I did not find this game fun or enjoyable. The games arent very good in my opinion and half of them dont explain what you have to do very well! If there were more options of play and better mini games, I would reccommend it - especially at such a cheap price - but for what i experienced, I would not.
Summary: It will not take long for this game to annoy you.... Some of the answers to the puzzles are meant to only be read using the supplied special graphics but some people can read the answer without them. A few of the tasks are just impossible to get right and it tends to be more luck than judgement. That said the other 70% of the game is ok. It is an excellent family game and you can easily play with lots of people.
