Summary: So there were no reviews on this game and I figured for $3.00 our space crazed 4 year old might like it. It was worth a shot. Well - I am happy to report she LOVES it. The game is simple enough so that she can play while i'm doing dishes and she won't come running in every 25 seconds asking for help. It speaks to the child, so there's no reading involved (though there are levels, so i would think it could grow with the child).
Summary: A few years ago when we got our Wii, I bought a few other games for "toddlers/younger ones". This is the ONLY one of the lot that my son loved from the beginning and he STILL plays with it a lot. The games are actually very educational, as well (although, he doesn't really know that!)....I highly recommend this for younger ones. Easy to use the Wii remotes with and educational and FUN!
Summary: We were having a hard time finding a Wii game that our 3.5 yo DD could play or even relate to, but Cosmic Family has fulfilled that desire. She enjoys the fun stories and can easily play along with the "adventure" or the 20 mini-games and activities. There are 3 game levels that you can choose, perfect as they progress in skills. There are educational themes like shape &/or color matching and sorting, puzzles, associations, sound memory and painting/drawing.
Summary: I love that this game is educational and has NO violence. My 6 year old beat it in about 4 hours. You can still play all the mini games afterwards. I just wish it took loger to beat. My 3 year old loved watching the 6 year old play and tried to help tell him where things went.
Summary: I agree with the other reviewer. We have an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old. The younger one wanted to be involved in playing games, but didn't quite get the hang of it; it led to frustration for her and for us (as we tried to explain how to play the other games). We just got this game yesterday and she is already understanding what to do and is playing by herself. So nice to have a fun (and educational!) game for her so that she doesn't feel left out.
Summary: We bought the Wii game system back in January or February. I have a ten year old and a four year old. The ten year old loves it, absolutely. I think he'd be willing to give up a kidney rather than lose the Wii (and I have to concur). The four year old was a little disillusioned because she can't quite get the hang of the games. She was almost okay with baseball and bowling, but not quite. So when the rest of us wanted to Wii, she'd get annoyed, then annoying.
Summary: It won't have a long life but for the price and the educational and entertainment value it's well worth it. The funny animated clips are great and make my 5 year old want to complete the tasks. I'm looking for the next level game now.
