Summary: I was a bit disappointed that the character was hard to move with the controller. You can't save the game without quitting. A lot of mini games and not a lot of story. Some of the games involve hitting combinations of buttons in a sequence, which I am not very good at and you can't leave that and go do something else. There are no cheats posted online.
Summary: My 6-year-old daughter got bored with this game in about 30 minutes. And, don't let her age fool you -- she's an avid gamer. :) From what I've seen, I wasn't impressed. The graphics were pixelated (what you'd expect from a Wii game). It looks noticeably bad on my large high definition television. The background music was monotonous and the dialog seemed unnatural.
Book - great. Film - good. Game - what happened???

Summary: I bought this because the book is among my favourites and I very much enjoyed the film. I now really regret it - this is one of the worst games I've ever played. The story is not particularly clear - I get the impression that had I not seen the film I wouldn't have a clue what was going on. The gameplay is just terrible. Coraline, whom you control, is slow, not responsive, and frankly a bit useless.
