Summary: My nieces and I are all big fans of the first one for the Wii but this one is a lot harder and quite frankly there are some major flaws that spoil the game: For a start, the controls - though explained fairly well in the manual, I've found that during some of the recipes, when you try to apply what you read in the manual it wouldn't work properly (it may show you to hold the wii remote upright for stirring something and then you have to stir with it that way but it wont...
Summary: I did NOT like this game, what a waste! It offered no instructions, so when the time comes on the screen to shake the remote around, there is a little arrow or something telling you what to do, but it is very unclear, and was extremely difficult to figure out what they want you to do. Very confusing, very stupid. A waste of a Wii game. I would not recommend it, waste of money! The voices are annoying too, it doesnt talk to you, just has shrieky one-line comments.
Summary: What is it about this game that has had me spend my weekend hours playing this game all night just trying to master the recipes. Mama has had me since day one that I picked it up on the DS. I finally decided maybe it would be better on the Wii. I was wrong. The controls are the worst in the game. I thought at times my arm was going to fall off, or my Wii controller was going to fly off and cause an accident.
Summary: I bought this game for my daughters and daycare kids ranging from age 7 through 9. They are all huge fans of cooking mamma on DS, so I figured this would be a great game for them on Wii. Sadly, I was wrong. The game does not recognize any of our motions. It's nearly impossible for us to do tasks that should be simple, such as MIX ingredients, or POUR ingredients into a bowl. I would not recommend this game at all. Money down the toilet.
Summary: Being a fan of Cooking Mama, I was excited to purchase this game the other day. However, upon playing it I wish I had never seen it to begin with. Yes, the graphics are better, but the steps involved in recipes are either ridiculously easy or incredibly hard. The game is also extremely sensitive to the motions of the Wii-mote, and if not done exactly right- won't respond at all. The directions on how to use the Wii-mote are vague at best.
Summary: Well, personally I think this was a waste of money. For a 25 year old male this game doesn't offer anything. The gameplay is so basic its just a big waste of money and time. Now younger players might find this fun be we did not. the multiplayer was also boring. I will be selling my copy.
Summary: We are new to the Wii world, so Santa helped us out this year. This is one of the games we got. I have a daughter who loves cooking and enjoys cooking mama on the DS. But this falls a little short. I thought there was more team playing maybe we have to unlock more levels. It is ok, but there are other games that are quickly becoming favorites. Mario & Sonic olympics is great for the whole family even my 2yr old son loves the running!
