Excerpt: Not sure about this game yet. Its frustraing. Either that, or mom is dumb ha ha. I bought it for my 4 year old who is pretty good at a few other wii games and he just wont play this one because he cant get it. Each game requires different ways to play and he gets frustrating when his penguin wont move because the game does not tell you what to do. It took mom a few moments to figure out on one game in order to "go" I had to shake the remote likje crazy.
Summary: As a Club Penguin user since 2007, I always eagerly anticipate Club Penguin games. This game, when I bought it comes with an Unlock code that gives you four exclusive backgrounds and coins, which I thought was nice if you play the online game. This game comes with 12 games you can play with the computer and with your friends. The neatest part about this game as that 1-4 of you can waddle around the island at the same time during story mode, that can be entertaining.
Summary: My 3 kids are unanimous in their opinion that the Club Penguin website is better. Still, this does gives them the option of playing together, though the youngest (age 3) finds the wii remote a bit tricky. Would be good for when friends come over or parties. It certainly doesn't seem to be as popular as say any of the Mario Bros games or animal crossing, which are all played more often in our house. The Java Jump game did provide a good workout for Mum though!!
Summary: Younger kids will love it. The games are simple, maybe too simple. I would like to see more of a co-op element to the games. Even fun games can be educational and I do not see anything here that is doing that. The six and seven year olds would give it five stars, the eleven year old soon tired of it so she would agree with three to for stars.
