If real driving were this difficult I would ride the bus
28 August 2013
Summary: This is the most difficult to control car in the history of all games. It is so frustrating to try to even complete the first course. Wild controls - really there is no control and the computer controlled cars are instantly so far ahead there is no way to advance in the game. I hate this game so much. I have been driving for years and if real driving was this difficult, I would have given it up too.
Summary: If you like Old British Cars this is the game for you. Not spectacular, simple racing game (in Old British cars!) quite hard to get through the levels, kind of like a cheap Gran Tourismo (but with old British cars) Graphics are not the best, but hey it has Old British cars! Bottom Line: If you like racing Old British Cars, this game is for you!
Summary: This game is a lot of fun, but there are a few things you need to know. First, it is incredibly difficult to get new cars and new tracks. I hired my nephew (he's 9) to unlock the tracks while I focused on the cars. It can be done, but it requires time and practice. Second, there isn't a lot of variety. Time trials are one-person only, and the only way to have two people is to race with two computer cars.
Summary: This game is so much fun, and very affordable too. Maybe I love it so much is because we used to have an old Mini in the old country. I really like driving these old brit cars that I grew with in the old country. Excellent game that is quite challenging, lots of courses, and car choices as well.
Summary: This game is extremely challenging. Unless you are an extreme gamer, this will have you frustrated quickly! My husband and I have played it a few times and both of us are constant gamers. We both found this one difficult as far as controlling the direction of the cars. I recommend renting it before buying it. The scenery and cars are great but not the actual play of the game.
Worst racing game in the history of electronic and video gaming
Eagle Vision, Amazon
28 June 2008
Summary: I have playing numerous racing games over the course of my life (from Pole Position as a little kid) to many current racing games of this era. This has to be one of the worst racing games in history. There are only two viewing modes (from the street) and behing the car as you drive. The controls are awkward. The music is monotonous and cannot be changed. The physics is not realistic at all. The graphics are decent but not stellar. This is a game to avoid.
Summary: I purchased this game based on the idea of racing with different scenery, with different cars. A more laid back racing and whole new racing experience, that had so much potential. When you first play the game, only one track is available and one car. The others must be unlocked. The first track is IMPOSSIBLE! I tried with the wheel, I tried without. I kept slamming into the side of the cliff. The graphics were fantastic, typical of Wii but fun, and different.
Summary: My favorite aspect of this game is that you're not racing the typical American race cars - which is an awesome change of pace! Overall it's a great racing game - especially for those that want something different! The courses are challenging - but not too difficult. And, as with most racing games - it's much more fun when you're playing multiplayer and racing someone else...
