Carnival Games combines all the classic carnival game experiences with the Wii’s motion-sensing controls. Players start by creating a stereo-typed character. Then with your character, you venture out into the carnival, completing games in single-player mode to earn prizes and accessories. Or in multi-player mode you can compete against your friends and family. Up to four players can participate in that game. Multiplayer is possible even with just one Wii remote, as the game allows for players to pass the controller between them. There are more than 25 different mini games to play. Carnival includes all the classics; Dunk Tank, Alley Ball, Ring Toss, Balloon Darts, and so on. You get prizes and accessories when you are successful. Prizes are given out based on your performance. The better you perform the better the prizes. Though carnival is fun to play, there is a lack of clarity of game instructions and controls are too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Some of the games are amusing enough to be worth playing multiple times, but most of them aren’t. Some reviews said that though it’s not the best-looking game on Wii, it’s impressive for a low-budget, little-hyped release. Sound effects follow the carnival’s mood and atmosphere. It is mostly a family game giving a more Carnival mood that a real Carnival.

When I first saw Carnival Games, it looked like the kind of game that, if you got enough friends to crowd around your TV, it would prove to be a decent party-like distraction. Undoubtedly, there will be a small market of people who do just... Read more
Carnival Games embodies everything Nintendo continually stresses the Wii is about: simple, pick-up-and-play mechanics entire families can enjoy. In many respects, it’s more a sequel to Wii Sports than Wii Play is thanks to a dizzying 25 plus playable games with a little something on the midway for everyone. Based on how quickly it’s flying off store shelves, Carnival Games is well on the way to becoming an early sleeper hit for this upcoming holiday season. Read more
Carnival Games offers some good Game Cube era graphics, same with the sound. The graphics and sound might not be up to par with other games like this, but who cares. It is a little annoying hearing the same guy talk for all the mini games but they try to trick everyone by using different "Look I Can Make This Guy Too" characters. If you can get past that though you will find a great set of mini games that should appeal to everyone. Multiplayer is fantastic, you can share... Read more
Carnival Games is a good estimation of what its like to play real carnival games at either an amusement park, a county/state fair, or just about any other situation that would have carnival-style games in it. I say estimation because it still isn't very close in some aspects to the real deal. Some of the mini-games really feel "dumbed" down from the real deal, while some feel excessively hard. Multiplayer vs. Single PlayerCarnival Games has 2 different gameplay modes, a... Read more

Fun: I just played this game with my five year old nephew and two friends. While it isn't a perfect game, it's not bad enough to discount altogether. The graphics left something to be desired, and seemed kind of creepy to me. Though generally that doesn't effect the play of the game, it did cause at least one logistical problem. When creating your character (like creating a Mii), there aren't many choices. You do not get to pick hairstyles; there is only one standard... Read more
__My opinion__ I was disappointed with this one. The game has no excitement and I found it quite slow and boring it's not really a game of skill more pot luck, there are a few exceptions. I liked it more for multiplayer there is a bit more competition involved but no scores are recorded so you have nothing to beat except each other, your turn is over so quickly it takes a few goes to understand what you're doing and get it right. If the colours where brighter and the... Read more
This game has excellent replay value due to its large file of games and items to win and upgrade to larger items. However it may have some very hard games to play, the sensitive of the great is one of the best I have seen. Read more
