Excerpt: Call of Duty 3 was my first opportunity to play a FPS game for the Wii, having not picked up Red Steel , so I was anxious to see exactly how well the system handled the genre. Excerpt: While there are only 3 First person shooters on Nintendos Wii, it seems somewhat redundant to call the sequel to the critically acclaimed Call of Duty 2 the best one yet because it is in truth, a generic sequel that doesnt evolve the series or expand it, instead it merely tags along for the joy ride. Despite its shortcomings as a game that fails to impress compared to its predecessor, it is the best First Person Shooter currently available.
Excerpt: When it comes to the subject of World War II shooters you'll often hear people ludicrously claim that they're just like fighting in a real war. Of course, sitting on a sofa with a mug of cocoa at your side is nothing like being on the frontline, knee-deep in the mud with bullets whistling around your ears, knowing that one hit could mean instant death. In a game you can always switch off.
Excerpt: I alverdens aviser, tv-nyheder og artikler på nettet, springer nye indlæg op om krig, som mug der breder sig på en overmoden tomat. Artikler der skræmmer med sine fakta om omkomne, og de vilkår som de bekrigende lande lever under. Man distancerer sig derfor hurtigt fra disse grusomme krige, så længe det sker i virkeligheden!
Pros: Lidt mere variation imellem banerne, og en anelse forbedring hvad angår den kunstige intelligens.
Cons: Når banerne bliver for ensformige, over mangel på nytækning siden CoD2 og når AI’en halter.
