Video Game talk
3 April 2007
  • Conclusion: COD3 for the Wii is a fun and intense game that is sure to please both novice and experienced gamers who are willing to take a bit of time to become comfortable with the controls.  There's a lot of action and the various scenarios keep the gameplay feeling fresh.  Unfortunately the graphics are not state of the art, and if you've seen the game on a PS3 or 360, you'll be disappointed when you pop this disc into your Wii.

Call of Duty 3 for Nintendo Wii

DarkVision Hardware
11 March 2007
  • Excerpt: After waiting more than five weeks for my Wii to arrive one of the first games I played, besides the included Wii Sports, was Call of Duty 3. This game is the third installment in the Call of Duty video game series and unfortunately for PC gamers CoD3 is only available for consoles.

Call of Duty 3

GamePro.com
11 December 2006
  • Excerpt: Your arm hovers at your side, clutching your Wii-mote like a geeky gunslinger. You flick your wrist and your battlefield view whips around, sighting the just-visible helmet of a Nazi grunt hunkered behind a headstone. You bring your arm up, aim and carefully draw a bead. Your finger tenses on the trigger button and when the time is right, you shoot.

BigPond GameArena
5 October 2007
  • Conclusion: In the end the game is a great example of where this type of game is going for Wii, but it fails to really offer an excuse to buy it, save to say if you only own a Wii, it's a no-brainer for now. The controls are weird at first, but excellent once you get used to it. Visually it relays nothing of what Wii is capable of and the omission of multiplayer is just plain rude.
  • Pros: Control system, after you get used to it is very solid, Interactive actions like driving and melee are pretty cool, Intense action will keep you on your toes
  • Cons: No multiplayer, Looks as though it was built for GameCube, No online, The single-player campaign is far too linear and scripted

PopCap Hits Vol. 2

GamingMedia.de
12 May 2011
